Lights in front of the Einstein cafe

From Dresden.

I've been now for three months in Dresden, fair enough time to really take a bit taste for the city. It started very rude as the weather was very cold, lot of snow, and short days, now days are a bit large and the sun seems to be present more frequently. Fun things have happened to me since i been here, most of them related to my ignorance. The first night i spent at my new apartment, there were no blankets, so i covered with some curtains there were in the closet, it was really cold, but the worst part is that they were synthetic and they charged with static electricity, and then when i moved they were sparkling and making thunder like sounds withe lighting coming out in the darkness, it was really awful, but now it is very funny.

Then one saturday, just after the celebration of the 61 th anniversary of the bombing over Dresden, i was crossing the bridge and notice that the police (real no kidding at all police) was in the middle of the river saying something like achting!! achtung !!. The nazis were on AlbertPlatz trying to cross the river, in the middle the police and then in the other side, the black block guys, all wearing in black, covering their faces, standing against the police. In the other end of the river, more police and then the democratic political parties.

Although the meaning of the event ere really bad and everybody be ashamed and worry, i have to tell that from the stethical point of view it was beautiful. The light of the sun behind the clouds, the river, the snow falling. Like most of the worst thing in the worlds they often occur in very beautiful places.

Some pictures about the New years eve at Berlin, we have reached the conclusion is that the German character has to do with the calm on any situation.
(When a snow storm is making the buildings to move)
Is it snowing?
really?...

(It is so cold that your finger can barely move, all covered with ice)
Is is 20 dregrees below zero?
i haven't noticed....

Big fan of Neustadt by now.
