I have this great idea about the non linear propagation, it is really nice but i need to push for it. Hopefully it will work nicely.
By the way i think that our soliton behaves exactly like the KLM. We just need the tools to prove it, but numerically it works very well.

The flowers are because Nú has a permanent position (In Spain, that is a BIG deal), The picture was taken to publicize the all world famous buFAmanda (made by Amanda, my dear carnala.)

Today we got a PRL accepted for publication. The second in one year, it is bery nice really.

Two weeks back from France

Ywo weeks ago, Julio and i were at the Xtra summer school at Porquerilles. It was very interesting and the place was very nice, It was not fance, but as everybody was the same, the feelng was comforrtable. Besides that there were not so much time to rest. We went to the beach and spent there the free hours. I forgot my cam so no pictures.

These two weeks we have been trying to disintangle the huge amount of information that we have recieved. We have doen two talks about the laser systems and about the FROG-CRAP , and we just watched the top of the iceberg. I gave a talk on Parametric oscillators CPA, which will be accesible from the optics wave page Optics.

To much nice things to read about all these subjects. The main point being that all community is made of poticians, the problemas are rooted on the optics. The very edge of the optics, but the concepts are purely classical optics wihch is very nice.

I am in good mood, i have done few nioce calculations, have done few nice bits of things and im going to japna in few weeks.

Seeding the future.

A week before i came back from the Porquerolles iland near Toulon, near Marseille. It was very nice, a bit like, my F1 is faster than yours, but verey nice. I was able to watch the work from many groups all around europe showing how short a pulse might be (attoseconds is already here). But it was a bit of engeniering. This time, the people is focused more on the control of the pulses than the physical mechanism of them.

It felt like the field is a solid one, a lot of young scientis, none of them dare to open its mouth in the presentations. There wre practicals which were all very nice and also there were beach wich was also very nice.

I have to write carefully and documented about all this kind of stuff because it is worthy. Working on the tridimensional Helium. Will it ever end?
